{"product_id":"octahedrite-ni-fe-meteorite","title":"Octahedrite Ni-Fe Meteorite","description":"Ask anyone to name a meteorite and the chances are that they will say Gibeon, such is the iconic status of this most important of iron meteorite discoveries in Namibia. Large quantities of the heavy Ni-Fe metal were recovered and it was discovered that when cut and polished, and etched with nitric acid, that an amazing crystallized pattern appears - the Widmanstätten structure - between the Kamacite and Taenite mineral components. Many weird and wonderful cut 3-dimensional geometric designs have been made from this material, but this is a standard tile-shaped cuboid form and weighs in at 36.6 g. It's square faces present the Widmanstätten pattern extremely well and with no tarnishing. Ex David Baker specimen.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46777920880815,"sku":"CC45258","price":250.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC45258.png?v=1776417874","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/octahedrite-ni-fe-meteorite","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
