{"product_id":"native-silver-ps-after-dyscrasite-1","title":"NATIVE SILVER ps. after DYSCRASITE","description":"The silver antimonide Dyscrasite is a very rare species and even rarer as distinct crystals which are usually flattened and blade-like in form. Remarkably, some of the richest crystals of Dyscrasite are no longer that species, but actually pseudomorphs of Native Silver after Dyscrasite with larger Dyscrasite crystals being extremely rare. This small cabinet specimen is from Uranium mine No. 21 at Háje, Príbram, in the Czech Republic which is one of the all-time great localities for this type of replacement. At small cabinet size this is a fairly pure aggregate of fan-like crystals with somewhat pitted surfaces. Interestingly, with this form of replacement the overall volume of the Dyscrasite crystals tends to increase, with them becoming quite 'puffed' up compared to their original very thin and delicate counterparts.
