{"product_id":"native-copper-38","title":"NATIVE COPPER","description":"This impressive composite Native Copper crystal is from Copper Country, the name given to the richly mineralised Keweenaw Peninsula of Upper Michigan in the USA.  If you are unfamiliar with this area, the Keweenaw Peninsula projects out into Lake Superior for a distance of about 100 km (62 miles).  Although the specific mine has gone unrecorded, it is labelled as from Keweenaw County, which forms the upper, northern half of the peninsula; the lower half being in Houghton County.  Ex. matrix, this exquisite specimen is composed of intergrown, stacked spear-like Native Copper crystals with a fine, copper-chocolate brown metallic patina.  Marks across the specimen’s base could indicate where the specimen was once chiselled off from what was probably a much larger mass of Native Copper.  This beautiful miniature comes with a C. Pech (1884) label.  This could be the German (Berlin) dealer C.F. Pech, but appears to be more from a private collection rather than a stock label.\n","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46549588607151,"sku":"CC29295","price":2500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC29295.png?v=1770628898","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/native-copper-38","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
