Dominating the specimen are three pure white intergrown cockscomb mounds of rounded Baryte crystals of up to almost 3.5 cm diameter. The term Schwazite is seldom used nowadays, tending to be replaced by the term mercurian Tetrahedrite. However, this term is now loosing favour and being replaced by ‘mercury-bearing Tetrahedrite’.
