This superb miniature specimen is dominated by a quite large (4.6 cm in length) and quite chunky terminated monoclinic pseudomorph accompanied alongside by at least 15 smaller but equally well-formed pseudomorphs. All of these pseudomorphs show total replacement by Malachite and are sat upon a pale pink-cream carbonate (Dolomite or Calcite) matrix. A partial coating of murky-green Duftite microcrystals can be seen on the matrix, both on the front and back. This association of Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite with Duftite is unique to Tsumeb.
