{"product_id":"lorenzenite-with-aegirine","title":"LORENZENITE with AEGIRINE","description":"The famous Alkaline Syenite intrusions of the Kola Peninsula in Murmansk Oblast, northwestern Russia have produced some of the world's best crystallized specimens of rare and complex silicates. Despite being quite unusual in chemistry, Lorenzenite, a sodium titanium silicate, has been recorded in a significant number of occurrences worldwide. However, none have surpassed the size and perfection in crystallographic form of those from Murmansk Oblast, most of which were extracted and sold during the 1990s or earlier. Selsurt Mountain is one of the most famous areas for high quality crystals in matrix and this rich miniature specimen from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 \u0026amp; 1956-2021) is a great example of why. It features five dark brown well-formed orthorhombic Lorenzenite crystals embedded in a grey Aegirine-rich rock matrix. The Lorenzenite crystals, the largest of which reaches 1 cm in length, are well exposed, revealing their excellent orthorhombic crystal form.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46604936249519,"sku":"CC29771","price":200.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC29771.png?v=1772534742","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/lorenzenite-with-aegirine","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
