{"product_id":"leucophanite-with-aegirine","title":"LEUCOPHANITE with AEGIRINE","description":"Bordering on the realms of microminerals, this smaller thumbnail specimen is actually an exceptional crystal of the exotic species Leucophanite - a sodium calcium beryllium fluoro-silicate. Known for having produced some of the world's finest Leucophanite crystals in terms of shape and lustre, the discoveries were mostly made in the decade or two after the species was recognized at Mont Saint-Hilaire in 1967. Many microcrystals were found, but crystals like this, that reach 1 cm across are extremely rare and this one is in fine condition with very good classic tabular orthorhombic shape. Added to this, it is skewered by two contrasting black prisms of Aegirine, an association classic to Mont Saint-Hilaire. Both Aegirine crystals are missing their terminations, but it is the Leucophanite which is the centre of attention here. It is from the superb systematic collection assembled by the brothers Martin and Michael Günther (1951-2007 \u0026amp; 1956-2021).","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46792454504623,"sku":"CC29859","price":100.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC29859.png?v=1782820425","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/leucophanite-with-aegirine","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
