{"product_id":"kegelite-with-melanotekite","title":"KEGELITE with MELANOTEKITE","description":"Firstly one should point out how tiny this specimen is, but then its rarity. Housed in a small plastic box, the very old typed label attached to it records \"Kegelit (hextflg), Melanotekite (sw) Alamosit?\/Tsumeb, Namibia 84\/4140\". The latest label associated with this specimen is that of Erwin Kainer in Austria who records similar information. Kegelite is an exceptionally rare lead aluminium silicate sulphate carbonate hydroxide which was first described from Tsumeb mine in 1975 but is only known in minute colourless to white crystals. This tiny fragment shows the classic association of species from which the original Kegelite was found, with thin colourless platy ?Alamosite, thicker colourless ?Anglesite and studded with tiny rounded cinnamon brown Melanotekite microcrystals and larger (but still tiny) dark grey to black spheres of ?Melanotekite. Certainly one for the Tsumeb aficionado's to mull over as this is quite possibly a very early piece of this extremely rare species.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46604938051759,"sku":"CC43628","price":200.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC43628.png?v=1772534956","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/kegelite-with-melanotekite","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
