Named in 1975, the material bearing this, and the two other species first described from there (Pekoite and Proudite) was found on the 700 Level c. 1971.  Embedded in a resin mount, this 8.5 mm x  5 mm cut sample has been polished for reflected light microscope studies, or analysis by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). The lifespan of Juno mine was 1965-1981. Note, the measurements represent the polished section as a whole, rather than the individual grain within it.
