The underlying matrix is an attractive orange terracotta and where this is exposed through the Hemimorphite, adds great contrast.  Individual semi-transparent to translucent terminated lath-like Hemimorphite crystals to 1 cm form rich clusters around the two dominating curved crystalline mounds, some 4 x 2 x 1.5 and 3 x 2 x 1.5 cm respectively.  In these the Hemimorphite forms fanned crystal aggregates like splayed packs of playing cards.
