The Galena crystals all occur in the cuboctahedral habit, but in many sizes and modified forms.  These range between near-equant cuboctahedrons of about 4 mm diameter and broad distorted crystals, 1 cm in diameter and 4 mm thick, appearing more like hexagonal Chalcocite crystals.  The Quartz matrix comprises of a honeycomb network of flat, criss-crossing plates, all covered in micro-crystals of bright glassy Quartz.
