Firstly, it is extremely heavy for its size, due to the sheer quantity of dense Galena crystals. They form a fine crystallized plate of bright blue-grey metallic intergrown cubo-octahedral crystals. Individually, the crystals of Galena reach 1.6 cm across and 3-dimensionally they are in superb condition all around. Indeed, it appears almost like a 'floater', but with a thin point of attachment along one edge which is almost imperceivable. Here and there clusters of small colourless-white Quartz crystals coat the surface. A really super Blackdene Galena.
