Why, you might ask? Well, smaller cabinet in size, it has a rarely seen balance between slightly larger striated cubic golden Pyrite crystals as its matrix, with dotted rounded dark brown Sphalerite crystals and 'molten' lead-grey Galena on its surface, and large (to 2.5 cm across), perfect, pyramidal (or bipyramidal\/octahedral) and cubo-octahedral mottled green Fluorite crystals sat on top. The Fluorite is admittedly not the intense emerald-green for which Milpo mine has become renowned, but is so distinctive - like the skin of a toad - just bursting with character. Added to this, the Fluorite crystals are sharp, damage-free and present their magnificent shape extremely well, with fascinating surface growths drawing one in too.
