The Fluorite is almost completely coated by a sub-mm thick, yet pervasive, opaque film of micro-sucrosic Quartz crystals, masking the Fluorite in a creamy-white layer occasionally tinged burnt tan.  The colour of the Fluorite can be best seen in the specimen's base , this being an almost colourless pale yellowish-green.
