The Fluorite forms compound crystals with quite amazing gently curved, concave faces, reminiscent of the parabolic mirror in a reflecting telescope.  These are composed from 1 to 2 mm cubic crystals that stack with adjacent crystals, each slightly rotating and so forming the parabolic surface.  Quite remarkable.
