This funky specimen from his collection is from the Shalman area in Khyber District, Pakistan, but both Epidote and Fluorite are rarely seen from there, let alone both together. The Epidote (or perhaps Clinozoisite - as its colour is grading towards brown) forms an attractive, matrix-less, slightly divergent, 8 cm long fan-like spray with a slight twist in the alignment of crystals. Upon its outer edge a single, 1.4 x 1.4 cm, colourless, frosted, cubo-octahedral Fluorite crystal is perched.
