Forming a sizable aggregate of large intergrown intense amber-orange cubic crystals, the largest crystal reaches 6 cm on edge. With backlighting all of the Fluorite crystals display fine zonation in colour, with a thin purple band forming a rim around the edges of the cubes, but this colour effect is directional, and so disappears and reappears as the specimen is rotated and viewed at different angles. This piece is noted as having had some restoration, which means that one of the crystals, or crystal edges has been infilled to produce a smooth line, using material of identical optical properties to Fluorite. The restoration is so good that I cannot spot it but is declared and reduces the price significantly. One of the other large crystals has a cleaved corner, but this has not been reattached or restored.
