{"product_id":"fluorite-270","title":"FLUORITE","description":"Corvara mine (also known as Rabenstein as seen on a label accompanying this specimen) in Sarentino Valley, Bolzano Province, Trentino-Alto Adige , Italy was mined during the 20th century for optical-grade Fluorite which at its best is crystal clear. This superb cabinet sized specimen is dominated at one end by a 6.5 cm wide cube + dodecahedron crystal which if that wasn't stunning enough, also shows twinning down one side and other crystals on this piece show similar complex twinning. Optically, the Fluorite crystals are colourless and transparent internally but show natural surface frosting upon certain crystal faces, whilst others act like windows looking into the specimen. The top, or display side of the specimen is in really excellent condition. The rear edge of the main crystal shows a fractured cleavage surface but as its angle is very similar to that of the natural edge this is not a major distraction. Minor sulphide inclusions of Sphalerite can be seen on the back of the Fluorite too. Ex Hettrich Collection.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46549994307759,"sku":"CC54634","price":4500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC54634.png?v=1770656276","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/fluorite-270","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
