Missing its lower part, this stocky six sided 9.6 cm tall crystal is fully terminated by a distorted pyramid, with two of the sloping crystal faces dominating the others. The tip of the termination is slightly contacted. It has an unusual waxy lustre and smooth feel, possibly from natural etching or water worn. Internally, the crystal is translucent but with tectonic fractures. It is from Slyudyanka, near Lake Baikal, Irkutskaya Oblast', Prebaikalia, Eastern-Siberia, Russia where superb, large, blue and green Fluorapatite crystals are found in Calcite.
