{"product_id":"eucrite-ca-rich-achondrite-meteorite-2-pieces","title":"Eucrite - Ca-rich Achondrite Meteorite - 2 pieces","description":"Although witnessed coming down in October 1960, the remoteness of the area in Western Australia meant that the Millbillillie meteorite was not found until 1970. A Ca-rich Achondrite, or Eucrite, it has famously been linked back to the asteroid 4 Vesta. Internally very pale grey in colour, it is characterized by its black fusion crust, often with red soil stains. All of these features can be seen on these two cut samples, both weighing 4.9 g each. With good, clear, cut surfaces, but also a fine, rounded, smooth outer surfaces these are great smaller examples of this important Australian meteorite. Ex David Baker Collection. It should be noted that these are not two halves of the same piece, but were labelled together by the previous collector. A smaller specimen (no. CC45254) joins perfectly with one of the halves to make a complete small meteorite, but had already been photographed separately before this discovery was made.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46777915965615,"sku":"CC45266","price":300.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC45266.png?v=1776417369","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/eucrite-ca-rich-achondrite-meteorite-2-pieces","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
