This lovely small cabinet-sized display piece features very lustrous, glassy, dark olive-green Elbaite tourmaline in intergrown striated prismatic crystals alongside a fine doubly-terminated Rock Crystal Quartz. It is actually the combination with an excellent clear Quartz crystal that makes this tourmaline so special. Some of the thinner tourmaline crystals are paler coloured with an unusual silky lustre and one of the larger crystals shows a pink core in the style of what is sometimes called 'Watermelon' tourmaline.
