The Cuprite forms aggregates of modified octahedral crystals exceptionally to 9 mm across, with a lovely deep purple colour, and submetallic lustre, contrasting superbly with the orange, white and grey colour of Quartz crystals which protrude from within at many angles. The specimen is accompanied by a lovely handwritten label from Col.
