{"product_id":"cuprian-smithsonite-on-smithsonite","title":"Cuprian SMITHSONITE on SMITHSONITE","description":"This large cabinet specimen is a gorgeous and showy example of light peppermint green Cuprian Smithsonite forming bubbly spheres over a vuggy matrix of mixed cream, tan and light grey Smithsonite.  It is from the ancient Greek mining area of Lavrion on the Attica Peninsula.  Translucent turquoise blue rounded clusters of radially crystallised Cuprian Smithsonite are abundantly scattered over the top surface of a layered Smithsonite matrix.  This layered fabric probably reflects fine layering in the original limestone which has since undergone metasomatic alteration to form the orebody.  Groups of Cuprian Smithsonite spheres measure up to 3.5 cm across and contrast beautifully against the matrix.  This fabulous specimen is accompanied with two precious collection labels; those of Francesco S. Stoppani and Dr Reinhard Dallinger of Innsbruck.\n","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46540711526575,"sku":"CC3414","price":2000.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC3414.png?v=1770198403","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/cuprian-smithsonite-on-smithsonite","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
