{"product_id":"chalcopyrite-var-blister-copper-2","title":"CHALCOPYRITE   var. Blister Copper","description":"I doubt that any serious mineral collector would not question either the term \"classic\" or \"iconic\" when applied to the Blister Copper variety of Chalcopyrite from Cook's Kitchen mine.  Although this mine has produced so many good specimens of other species, it is its magnificent Blister Copper which it is synonymous for.  This small cabinet specimen is a superb example, displaying all the attributes which have made this variety of Chalcopyrite so popular with collectors.  Just to focus in on the locality, Cook's Kitchen mine is situated close to Pool, about mid-way between Camborne and Redruth, within the Parish of Illogan.  It was adjacent to the eastern workings of Dolcoath mine and in later years was amalgamated into South Crofty mine.  Specimens of Blister Copper also come from Dolcoath and it is highly probable these were in the  same mineralised zone as  those from Cook's Kitchen, divided only by the mining boundary.  In this specimen the Blister Copper forms gently undulating botryoidal mounds, most of which display the most aesthetic golden metallic  lustre.  This is a really splendid example of a Cook's Kitchen Blister Copper for your collection.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46549834662063,"sku":"CC36389","price":850.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC36389.png?v=1770644480","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/chalcopyrite-var-blister-copper-2","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
