Well-known for unusual, elongated, needle-like, composite Chalcocite-Chalcopyrite crystals in association with small colourless scalenohedral Calcite crystals and tiny opaque white Baryte sprays the window for collecting was short, with the quarry closing in December 1996. This superb, larger, small cabinet-sized plate, shows exceptional colour, with stunning iridescence. This level of iridescence was extremely rare, and examples are simply not seen available anymore.
