This thumbnail specimen is off-matrix, save for minor grains of creamy Quartz, and consists solely of Chalcocite crystals. It is composed of a bevel edged, platy pseudohexagonal crystal attached to a 1.9 cm long double terminated Chalcocite crystal.  All the crystals are steel blue grey with a metallic lustre, some displaying a little iridescence.  The pseudohexagonal crystal measures 1.2 cm between flats and is equally showy viewed from either side.
