{"product_id":"cassiterite-37","title":"CASSITERITE","description":"A rare location specimen of well-crystallised Cassiterite on mica with a small Fluorapatite crystal, from Mount Bischoff mine, Waratah, Waratah district, Tasmania, Australia. Mount Bischoff was Tasmania’s first major mine, the ore deposit having been discovered by a farmer in 1871. Six Cassiterite crystals ranging from 5 mm to 1.9 cm across sit proudly on a flat, hard, dark grey matrix, possibly a quartzite, metamorphosed from country rock by pervasive localised past igneous activity. One of the three small Cassiterite crystals is translucent to semi-transparent and glows golden sherry brown in transmitted light. Interestingly, sitting amongst the surrounding platelets of Muscovite Mica is a solitary pale blue, truncated hexagonal Fluorapatite crystal. It’s very tiny but very nice!","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46584785043631,"sku":"CC32407","price":350.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC32407.png?v=1771856338","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/cassiterite-37","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
