Forming a richly coloured sulphur-orange, diamond-shaped wedge, 1.7 cm in length, within a grey-white miniature-sized feldspar matrix, this lovely Norwegian specimen is labelled as from Svensken quarry II on its accompanying Michael Kruse label, indicating its age - this quarry having long since been consumed by the much larger A\/S Granit larvikite quarry. We don't often encounter specimens from this area, making this an unusual find.
