This fun-looking dome-like aggregate of glossy, cream to white stepped Calcite crystals has an interesting crystal morphology. The crystals showing across its somewhat scaly surfaces are both small 'nail-head' type forms and short scalenohedra aligned around the sides of the 'dome'. There is some minor chipping to a few of the crystals, but this is a extremely unusual habit of Calcite for Tsumeb and still presents very well with slight colour-zoning from translucent cream, to white, inclusion-rich tips of some of the crystals distracting ones attention.
