This fine large miniature specimen comes from Mike Brooke's collection of British minerals. Calcite rosettes form over 75% of the specimen, which comprises a core of massive vein Quartz and minor Chalcopyrite, around which the Calcite 'blooms' as a 1 cm wide crust. The Calcite is pale cream to pale pink in colour and has only very small areas of wear.
