{"product_id":"brookite-6","title":"BROOKITE","description":"There was a time when the small country of Wales dominated the world of fine Brookite crystals. In fact, that period ran for more than a century from their discovery at Prenteg in the 1830s with occasional good large crystals turning up in alpine clefts in Switzerland over the years. In the early years of the 21st century things changed dramatically, with the discovery of enormous (for the species) crystals in the Kharan District, Balochistan, Pakistan. Still bladed in form, the crystals from Pakistan are nearly always a distinctive rectangular shape in comparison to the 'rounded' crystals from Wales and Switzerland, but still present the classic linear surface striations. This exceptional specimen features a perfect, damage-free, 2 x 1.3 cm, wafer-thin, bladed, dark-brown, glossy, Brookite crystal perched across the edge of the specimen on the boundary between a vein of Quartz and rock matrix. The crystal sits in a way which allows all sides to be viewed, with several smaller identical bladed crystals overlapping parallel to the first. One or two small Quartz crystals skewer through the Brookite crystal, in effect holding it in place in its dramatic pose. A world-class matrix-hosted Brookite.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46792455585967,"sku":"CC29925","price":6500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC29925.png?v=1783418515","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/brookite-6","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
