On its own it reaches large miniature in size, with its largest dimensions 5.8 and 5.2 cm. A small amount of Muscovite mica can be seen as micaceous crystals embedded within the surface of the Brazilianite crystal and there is a pitted depression in the top of the crystal where another crystal was previous sat, but this is undoubtedly a significant individual crystal of this very rare species.
