This fine miniature specimen is ex Glyn Cunnick collection and ex Chris and Agatha Galas collection. It consists of the thicker style of bladed Baryte from there, which is less prone to damage than the more delicate paper-thin crystals. The Baryte crystals, which reach 1.5 cm in length, form a layer intergrown with orange-brown clay matrix and several small rounded botryoidal masses of green Malachite sit around the base of a few of the Baryte crystals. The Baryte crystals are faintly greyish-green, translucent to transparent and display a slightly resinous lustre.
