{"product_id":"baryte-with-chalcopyrite-4","title":"BARYTE   with CHALCOPYRITE","description":"An interesting combination of Baryte and Chalcopyrite from Mount Wellington mine near the village of Cusgarne in Gwennap, Cornwall.  Translucent light grey, elongated prismatic Baryte crystals to 1 cm form stacked clusters on a matrix of tarnished Chalcopyrite.  The Chalcopyrite appears as if brecciated and subsequently cemented by an earthy, off-cream granular matrix.  The Chalcopyrite is most probably separate Chalcopyrite crystals protruding from a more massive Chalcopyrite matrix beneath the creamy infilling.  This specimen comes with Mike Brooke and Mike Merry labels. Not documented is a small label glued to the specimen, with a smudged catalogue number and initials D.A.  This is a late Don Alderson label, known to most British collectors through his company, Isis Minerals.  Don was a great collector of Baryte and this was part of his wonderful large collection.  Very sadly, Don passed away all too soon in October 2013.\n","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46584790548655,"sku":"CC32716","price":400.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC32716.png?v=1771856521","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/baryte-with-chalcopyrite-4","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
