The Baryte forms an open, intergrown group of classic, broad, chisel terminated tabular crystals measuring to 3.7 cm , tinted pale greenish-blue and grading from translucent to gemmy at the terminations.  All crystals have a glassy to waxy lustre.  The Baryte has formed on creamy plates of Dolomite with minor reddish pink Hematite.
