An old Julius Böhm label (ca.1850?-1925) states the location as the Agnes mine at Frizington in Cumbria, England.  At present there appears to be no record of this mine on mindat, but an Agnes Iron Pit was located 7 km ESE of Whitehaven in Cumbria.  Whitehaven is only 8 km (5 miles) from Frizington.  This is a superb specimen and an exceedingly rare example from this little known mine.
