Its extensive oxidation zones contained some of the world's finest Azurite crystals, the best of which were not only large and perfectly shaped, but were glossy and gemmy too. This miniature-sized cluster of bladed Azurite crystals is not without some damage, notably around the edges, but the crystals present the finest rich 'wet' resinous lustre and fine translucency, with its intense deep blue colour enhanced by directional lighting. The largest crystal reaches slightly over 2 cm in length with many very well-formed glossy, bladed, terminated crystals present across the front display face of this lovely specimen. A little creamy-white Cerussite is intergrown with the Azurite crystals, but does not detract from the high quality of the Azurite crystals.
