{"product_id":"arsentsumebite-with-cerussite-and-malachite-ps-after-azurite","title":"ARSENTSUMEBITE with CERUSSITE and MALACHITE ps. after AZURITE","description":"This is a proper Tsumeb classic, showing a rarity in species and complexity in geochemistry that only Tsumeb can attain, and in a great, showy, cabinet size specimen. We all know of the wonderful Malachite pseudomorphs (replacements) of perfect orthorhombic blocky\/bladed Azurite crystals for which Tsumeb is famed, but there are other places on Earth where similar alteration and replacement has taken place. Add to that an infusion of pale acid-green to lime-green Arsentsumebite and things start to become even more interesting. Tsumeb mine is, as the name suggests, the Type Locality for Arsentsumebite and this association with Malachite pseudomorphs after Azurite if not unique, is certainly unique in its richness and visibility. But that is not all. Look carefully, and one will see that the Arsentsumebite is also a pseudomorph, but in this case after a prismatic mineral - presumed to be Mimetite. There is also glassy, white Cerussite crystals intergrown, as well as a latter generation of Azurite to give it flashes of blue too. Ex Hettrich Collection, this is clearly an older specimen, but is remarkable in its richness and quality.","brand":"Crystal Classics","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46793832038575,"sku":"CC53851","price":1500.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0710\/8516\/2671\/files\/CC53851.png?v=1782819456","url":"https:\/\/crystalclassics.com\/products\/arsentsumebite-with-cerussite-and-malachite-ps-after-azurite","provider":"Crystal Classics","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
