No repairs are declared, but one horizontal fracture 1\/3 of the way up the crystal might have been repaired, but if so it has been done very well indeed. Tourmaline crystals are prone to occasionally bend due to tectonic disturbance while growing in the water-rich pegmatite melt.  A cluster of small milky white Tourmaline crystals have developed on the prism faces at this particular point. The prism has one recorded repaired just below this cluster of crystals. This lovely specimen comes with a Gochenour's Mining label on which is noted the specimen was found in October 2002.
